Aton Pharma, as it stands today, was created as a specialty pharmaceutical company in 2006. We have moved our therapeutic focus toward the areas of ophthalmology and rare diseases. These rare diseases are also referred to as orphan diseases, due to their low prevalence, severity, and lack of adequate treatments.

We are a patient-focused company, and pride ourselves on our scientific acumen in recognizing unmet or overlooked medical needs. Our comprehensive portfolio consists of 4 treatments for ophthalmic diseases and 6 for rare diseases. Our research pipeline is focused on developing new indications for current ophthalmic therapeutics as well as developing novel therapeutic applications for rare diseases.

Our breadth as a pharmaceutical company extends worldwide, with distributors via partnerships in Canada and South America. Aton Pharma has been able to bring unique therapeutics for life-threatening illnesses to the patients who need them the most. Through our partner, IDIS, our products can get to patients throughout the world, and through MAP International, we are able to provide drugs, internationally, to patients in need.
